Just another blog…

Signs of Winter

We woke up this morning to find a dusting of snow on the cars and in shaded spots around the yard. Old Man Winter is making his grand entrance for the season!

A hint of white hiding out in the grass.

A dusting in the woods behind the house.

And atop the shed...

And atop the shed...

In front of the house...

And on our rotting pumpkin...

Coating our cars...

And in my hand.

And in my hand.

Come back soon, snow. Bring more next time!

  1. Oh wow how fun! So jealous that you get snow!!

  2. Yeah, coming from CA, I totally fell in love with the snow. The past few winters have been relatively snow free for us, so I’m hoping for lots of the white stuff this year!

  3. My God! This year has gone by so fast. It feels like only yesterday that I was starting my first semester of college, and now I’m hearing of signs of snow and finals are right around the corner! Where did the year go? By the way, I love your picture on facebook. You and Johnny look so cute, and Roxy is as adorable as ever! Love ya sis!

  4. I know…time always flies. I can’t believe that Johnny and I have been married for six months. Half a year! Thanks for the compliment on the pic - Roxie wasn’t cooperating with our picture taking endeavors because she was too busy scoping out the woods for squirrels. Good luck on your finals - love you!

  5. I want more snow next time, too! I hear that it’s going to be a relatively snowy winter…That really excites me because you’re right, we’ve not had decent amounts of snow these past few years.
